The Scottsville Youth Ministry is FRESH…

F – we will Focus on the Word.

R – we will Reach out to the community.

E – we will Enjoy each other and our time together.

S – we will Stand committed to Christ.

H – we will Honor God.

For our meeting times, there will be two youth groups… a 10^th –12^th grade group and a 7^th – 9^th grade group. We would meet on alternate weeks. The meetings are on alternate Sunday evenings from 6:45 to 8:00pm. 

Regarding team building and volunteers, I see three levels of support:

• Educational Support – weekly volunteers are needed to help with Bible study, lessons, and activities and most importantly, to be in compliance with Safe Sanctuary practices.

• Special Events Support – drivers and support for community events, retreats, trips, etc.

• Scottsville United Methodist Youth Council – parents and youth directly involved with the youth ministry, as well as other interested members of the church. A commitment to attend monthly or bi-monthly meetings would be sufficient.
